Anxiety often shows up during big transitions, like a divorce, an empty nest, or a health change. It can also build quietly over years of holding everything together.
Signs you might benefit
- Worry that’s hard to switch off
- Replaying conversations or decisions
- Trouble falling or staying asleep
- Feeling on edge, irritable, or tense
- Avoiding decisions or situations
- Feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks
How we work on it
We start by understanding what sets off your anxiety and how it shows up in your days. Then we practice tools you can use between sessions: ways to calm your nervous system, question anxious thoughts, and take small steps toward what you’ve been avoiding.
How the REBUILD Method™ fits
The REBUILD Method™ is the framework I use in our sessions. We start with what feels most urgent, set goals you choose, and work step by step on boundaries, routines, and decisions. It’s informed by established approaches in psychotherapy. It isn’t a separately validated treatment, and it doesn’t promise a particular outcome. About the REBUILD Method™ →

We talk
I’ll ask what’s going on and what you’d like to change, and answer your questions about how I work.
Decide together
If we’re a good fit, you book your first session and complete intake forms through Alma. If not, I’ll suggest other options.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a diagnosis to start therapy for anxiety?
No. Start with a free consultation and we’ll talk about what you’re experiencing. If you use insurance, a diagnosis may be needed for billing, and we’ll discuss that together.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. I’m a licensed therapist, not a medical doctor. If medication might help, I can suggest speaking with your physician or a psychiatrist.
